“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that."
What is 'Amor.'?
Amor means 'love' in Spanish, which we have defined as sacrifice. We believe that Jesus showed the ultimate act of love by sacrificing himself, and therefore, we call for everyone who wears our clothes to put their wants aside to help make someone else smile. We can all give up something to show a little love.
A Mind On Revolution
A lot of people don’t know what love is or how to love other people, let alone how to love themselves. Therefore learning how to love, and acting in that love is a revolution. It creates an internal revolution that turns external.
A Move Off Regret
When going through life, there are a lot of people that regret the things that they have done, the people they have dated, things they have said etc. This is understandable, but we want to move off of regret. We don’t dwell on past mistakes. Dwelling on past mishaps is a recipe for a new one. We learn from our mistakes and move on. Never stay stagnant.
A Moment Of Realization
Love starts internally. A moment of realization is the moment you realize that you are amazing. No one is exactly like you, and you are beautiful for that. However, it also acknowledges that there is no ceiling on how amazing you could be. So this is the moment you realize you're beautiful but have much work to do.
A More Organized Response
People tend to act out of pure emotion. Amor, meaning love, means that you can not respond and retaliate in the ways you want; instead, you react in the way you should, which takes more thought and hence, a more organized response.
